Sto cercando A nice and cozy room in a WG for the upcoming Winter/Spring semester (Dec 2024-May 2025) in Zürich (ideally max 30 min public transport from ETH Zentrum). The age group of the tenants should be between 20-30 years. Other than that I have no real requirements. I can match and would fit in well with a wide range of people. I would be especially happy to join a WOKO or JUWO flat.

Sono Hi there! My name is Howe, a 22 y/o male from Singapore currently finishing up my Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. I will be doing a Bachelor's Thesis at ETHZ during the Winter/Spring semester (Dec 2024-May 2025).

I am a cheerful person with an easy-going personality, with a fondness of socializing with new people and learning about different cultures. I am quite passionate about tinkering with robots and learning languages, as well as regularly keeping myself fit by cycling and going for hikes. Additionally, I am also used to organising regular outings to neighbouring countries (mostly to Malaysia/Indonesia) with my university friends during semester breaks. I also enjoy going for astronomy field trips over the weekends to marvel at the serenity of the night sky and bring out my inner sense of wonder. Additionally, I would also consider myself to be a good cook, and can cook up some delicious Asian dishes for all to share :D (Fun fact about me: I once walked across Singapore in half a day with my friends for fun!)

I value a tidy and clean living space, as I have experience living on campus within a shared kitchen and toilet, I’m tolerant towards mess, but I'm used to sharing space and doing my best to keep it clean and organized. In addition, I have also served in a two-year military National Service (compulsory in Singapore) where the standards of discipline and cleanliness was particularly emphasized. I enjoy living with other people and just hanging around in the evenings discussing the matters of the world, life and philosophy. I am a non-smoker.

I consider myself fluent in English (native), and I have also studied French and German for a few years and consider myself to be at an conversational level (B1-B2) for both these languages.
