Das Zimmer hat einen Einbauschrank mit drei Türen und mehrere Möbel und Matratzen die bei Bedarf übernommen werden können. Die Wohnung besticht durch einen großzügigen, offenen Wohnbereich mit Kamin – ideal für gesellige Filmabende oder gemeinsames Musizieren – sowie eine integrierte Küche mit Geschirrspüler.
Dank dicker Wände und gut isolierter Fenster hört man sowohl von außen als auch innerhalb der Wohnung kaum Lärm.
Ein Wasch- und Trockenraum wird gemeinsam mit den Nachbarn von oben genutzt.

The room for rent in our 3.5-room apartment is very bright and offers peace and quiet thanks to its north-facing location on a street with little traffic. The room has a built-in closet with three doors plus several other furniture and mattresses for you to use if needed. The apartment features a spacious, open living area with a fireplace – ideal for sociable movie nights or making music together – as well as an integrated kitchen with a dishwasher.
Thanks to the thick walls and well-insulated windows, you can barely hear any noise from either outside or inside the apartment.
A laundry room and drying room are shared with the neighbors upstairs.

Wir suchen eine gesellige, ordentliche Person, die Freude an gemeinsamen Kochabenden oder kreativen Treffen hat und Wert auf Sauberkeit in Küche und Wohnzimmer legt.
Flexibilität, Humor und Respekt stehen bei uns ganz gross geschrieben. Die Mindestmietdauer beträgt 4 Monate (Mai-September), bei Sympathie ist ein längerer Aufenthalt ab Mitte September möglich.

We are looking for a sociable, tidy person who enjoys cooking evenings or creative get-togethers and values cleanliness in the kitchen and fiving room. Flexibility, humor and respect are very important to us. The minimum rental period is 4 months (May-September), a longer stay is possible from mid September on.

Wir sind Isabelle und Daniel, ein Künstlerduo aus Kolumbien in ihren 30ern, arbeiten beide als Freelancer in der Film- und Musikbranche und sprechen Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch und Spanisch. Anfangs haben wir zu zweit gewohnt, seit über einem Jahr teilen wir uns aber ein Zimmer und vermieten das andere unter, da immer jemand von uns mehrere Monate unterwegs ist. Unser Alltag pendelt zwischen kreativen Projekten in Biel und Drehs anderswo, doch wir lieben es, eine inspirierende WG-Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Abseits der Leidenschaft für kulinarische Experimente (oft mit Gästen) machen wir gerne Yoga, gemeinsame Ausflüge in die Natur oder auf ein tolles Konzert, und zocken Mario Kart 64. Respekt, Humor und ein offenes Miteinander liegen uns am Herzen. Du würdest die ersten zwei Monate mit Isabelle und ab August mit Daniel wohnen, du würdest uns aber natürlich beide vor deinem Einzug kennen lernen (:

We are Isabelle and Daniel, an artist duo from Colombia in our 30s, both work as freelancers in the film and music industry and speak German, French, English and Spanish. We started out as roomies living together, but for over a year now we've been sharing one room and subletting the other, as one of us is always on the road for several months at a time, followed by the other one upon return. Our daily lives alternate between creative projects in Biel and film-shoots elsewhere, but we love to create an inspiring and sociable atmosphere at home. Apart from our passion for culinary experiments (often with guests), we like to do yoga, go on excursions together Into nature or to a great concert, and play Mario Kart 64.
Respect, humor and open-mindedness are important to us. You would live the first two months with Isabelle and from August onward with Daniel, but you’ll get to meet us both before moving in of course (:
