The room isBasic amenities: The room is about 18 square meters. This room is furnished with a bed, mattress, pillows, comforter, desk, chair, and lamp. Rent includes WiFi and heating costs, but not water or electricity. Free washer and dryer, but only available on Fridays during the week. Shared two bathrooms and a kitchen with two other people (the kitchen did not have a dishwasher, but had a full stove, refrigerator, and dining table). 
Roommate situation: one male and one female roommate, the male is a master's student and the female is a PhD student.
Price: Monthly rent 510 CHF, deposit 510 CHF, home insurance required before moving in.
Location: Opposite the University of Basel's Biozentrum, within walking distance of the university's bishop, the library, the immigration office, and all.
Disadvantages: old house with thin walls and not very good soundproofing. So roommates need to be quiet after 11pm and before 9am. This room is currently only available to rent from 14.02.2025 - 31.8.2025.
