Das Zimmer istWe are offering our room(s) in a 120m2 family flat on the first line by Limmat River. Our dear friend, who currently shares the apartment, will be moving out before Christmas. Once he leaves, you’ll have the apartment entirely to yourself for the duration of your stay.
The Room is:
Sun-Lit (south facing) Master Bedroom with Limmat and Garden View:
- 14m2, Japanese-inspired design
- Furniture: 160x200 bed, 5-section wardrobe + commode
Private Bathroom:
- Large double-sink bathroom with a bathtub and shower
- Ample storage space at your disposal
- Set of towels provided
Shared Space (92m2):
- Spacious living room with home cinema and hi-fi audio
- Open kitchen with plenty of equipment ready to use
- Washer and drier inside the apartment
- 4m2 balcony with a grill (to satisfy your winter bbq cravings, if any)
Additionally, you’ll have access free of charge to:
- Bi-weekly cleaning service
- Mr Green recycling service: Put all your recyclables in a green bag and take it out every two weeks (no more going to three different places to get rid of your garbage!)
Optionally, we can also offer our home office for an additional 950CHF/mo.:

- Additional 140x200 bed (for e.g. one more family member)

ZHdK (10 min walk); ETH Hönggerberg (35 min walk or 20 min by bike if you are Tour-de-France level fit)
Transport: Tram stops (8, 17 and 13; 6 min walk), Escher-Wyss-Platz (15 min walk), Hardbrücke S-Bahn (25 min walk)
Groceries: Spar, Lidl, Coop, Migros, and an Asian shop all within walking distance
Fitness and Nature: Kloster-Fahr-Weg for jogging or walks by Limmat riverside; Werdinsel (30 min walk) for winter swimmers.
