Description
La chambre estOurs is a cozy apartment occupying the two upper floors of an old building, fully equipped with kitchen (yes, we have an espresso machine), two bathrooms, washing machine/dryer, and attic. The room is about 14 m² in size and has a window facing the quiet inner courtyard to the southeast.
Nous cherchons
Chiara is leaving us soon and we are devastated, but also looking forward to finding a new (preferably non-smoker female between 25 - 33 y.o.) flatmate from May onwards. The room would come partially equipped, as Chiara would like to pass on her large Pax wardrobe and bookshelf for a fair price (both are less than a year old!)
The rent is 690 CHF per month and a cleaning fee of 140 CHF every four months (a cleaning help visits us every two weeks).
Nous sommes
We are:
- Marta, a Spanish medical doctor with a passion for drawing, languages, books, cycling, and salty popcorn.
- Anna, a medical doctor originally from Austria, who’s a regular at the coffee and brunch spots around town. She loves running and occasionally goes to the gym (though not as often as her flatmates).
- Terka, who is not a medical doctor. She’s from Slovakia and moved to Basel to pursue a PhD in computational biology. She enjoys coffee, reading, walking, and attending (and leading!) gym classes.
More than roommates we consider ourselves friends, and we love spending time together. Sunday mornings are sometimes reserved for waffles, and every now and then, we sign up and train for running competitions. We all go to the same gym, host movie nights, and take short trips whenever we can. We're clean, organized, and non-smokers ourselves. Laughing, chatting, and gushing in the kitchen during dinner is a regular occurrence.
