I am looking for I’m looking for a room in a shared flat (WG) in Zurich starting September 2025, as I’ll be beginning my Master’s in Computer Science at ETHZ. Ideally, I’d love a calm and comfortable place with flatmates who are respectful and not throwing parties every weekend — I imagine that’s what most people are hoping for anyway!

It would be amazing to have a private bathroom, but I know that’s quite rare, especially for lower-budget options — so definitely not a must. I’d prefer a non-smoking flat, or at least one where smoking is only done outside, since I really don’t like the smell.

Most importantly, I’d like to live with people who are easygoing and value a peaceful living environment, especially during the semester when things can get busy and intense.

I am I’m 21 years old and just finished my Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Geneva. I’m a French-American student and will be starting my Master’s at ETH Zürich in September 2025. I’m fluent in both English and French, but I don’t speak Swiss German (yet!).

I’m clean, considerate, and pretty easygoing. I tend to be on the quieter side — I don’t party much and expect to be quite focused on my studies during the semester. It’d be great to live with people who have a similar vibe: respectful, calm, and down to earth.
