Ik ben op zoek naar I’m looking for a room in a shared flat (WG) in Zurich starting September 2025, as I’ll be beginning my Master’s in Computer Science at ETHZ. Ideally, I’d love a calm and comfortable place with flatmates who are respectful and not throwing parties every weekend — I imagine that’s what most people are hoping for anyway!

It would be amazing to have a private bathroom, but I know that’s quite rare, especially for lower-budget options — so definitely not a must. I’d prefer a non-smoking flat, or at least one where smoking is only done outside, since I really don’t like the smell.

Most importantly, I’d like to live with people who are easygoing and value a peaceful living environment, especially during the semester when things can get busy and intense.

Ik ben I’m 21 years old and just finished my Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Geneva. I’m a French-American student and will be starting my Master’s at ETH Zürich in September 2025. I’m fluent in both English and French, but I don’t speak Swiss German (yet!).

I’m clean, considerate, and pretty easygoing. I tend to be on the quieter side — I don’t party much and expect to be quite focused on my studies during the semester. It’d be great to live with people who have a similar vibe: respectful, calm, and down to earth.
