Description
Je cherche Looking either for a room in a WG, or to take over an existing contract for an apartment.
Je suis Hey,
I am a software engineer (31) and a long time resident of Zürich. I've been studying Sinologie at the UZH for quite some time now as a side pursuit, and I've just finished a year-long scholarship at a university in Beijing. Following that, I've signed a work contract with Open Systems in Zürich. I'm planning to move in back to Zürich sometime this week, and that of course involves searching for an apartment.
Ever since university, I've lived in shared arrangements with many people, and many of those have become my longtime friends. I'm neat and terrific with people, and can speak Polish, English, German (C1 Goethe) and Chinese.
My current hobbies include reading Chinese books, skipping rope and ice climbing. I'm fairly sportive, and I'm also a good cook.
Since I've come back from China, my most recent cool stories come from there. Some of the things I've done there was interpreting between Chinese and Polish/English at a large binational business event, and going off with the president of my university's mountaineering association on an gray-area expedition to search for the bodies of two fallen climbers at Xuebaoding last May.
If you check out my LinkedIn, you can see some pictures from my stay in China under my work profile. Hopefully that both makes me a real person and also further sparks your interest.
When I think of the idea of a good WG partner(s), the things that immediately come to mind are: light-heartedness and a match in character. Neatness, but not going into the extremes; mutual understanding and ability to non-confrontationally solve all typical issues that pop out when you live with another person.
